You won't get up one of the 29 four-thousand metre peaks encircling the Gornergrat on your bike. The marked bike route will nevertheless give you a sense of elation. After the trip onboard the rack railway (self loading of bikes), it's time to hit the saddle. Over rough and smooth, downhill, leisurely and fast – enticing single trails provide for feelings of exhilaration, even without a suspension fork.
