Gornergrat Railway: timetable and all the latest information

Here you can find the timetable for the Gornergrat Railway – your convenient access to a mountain experience at over 3,000 metres above sea level. The valley station of the Gornergrat Railway is directly opposite the railway station in Zermatt. The seasonally adjusted timetable enables trips 365 days a year, from morning to evening. Current timetable

In the winter season until 1 April 2024, the Gornergrat Railway offers departures every 24 minutes between 8.24 am and 4.24 pm. The last ascent from Zermatt up to the Gornergrat takes place at 7.24 pm, the last descent from the Gornergrat to Zermatt at 8.07 pm.

The operation of the Gornergrat Railway is suspended from November 2nd to November 7th, 2024, due to construction work. There will be no trains or replacement transportation.
