Our best views tip:
Take Europe’s highest open-air cogwheel railway up to the Gornergrat and enjoy the fantastic view of the Matterhorn and its 28 neighbours , all of which are over 4,000 metres high.
Our summer tip:
“Matterhorn: No Ladies Please!” - The title of the third production from the Zermatt open-air theatre on Europe’s highest open-air stage.
From 13. July to 1. September 2019 on the Riffelberg.
Our eating tip:
Try a traditional Valais raclette in one of the many restaurants whose speciality is local, Valais dishes.
Our culture tip:
We recommend a walk around Zermatt’s historic quarter followed by a visit to the Matterhorn
