A normal, 3-minute soft-boiled egg in the valley needs 6 minutes on Gornergrat.
Take in liquids regularly; at an altitude above 2500 metres or more the body needs more hydration. You should drink about 4 to 5 litres per day.
Eat carbohydrates, not fatty foods; they require less oxygen to digest.
